In-app troubleshooting
I forgot my PIN
Open the app → Settings → Profile → Change PIN → Request PIN reset code. We’ll send a code to your verified phone or email.
I’m not getting notifications
On iOS: Settings → AlertNaija → Notifications. On Android: Settings → Apps → AlertNaija → Notifications. In the app, open Settings → Alerts and check radius and categories.
My report was removed
Moderation may remove content that breaks our Terms. To appeal, see Takedown & appeals.
Family didn’t get a panic alert
Confirm contacts are added and have accepted, and that they use the app with notifications on. If it still fails, email safety@alertnaija.com with the approximate time.
Reporting a serious issue
For child safety, exploitation, or other serious incidents involving the platform, email safety@alertnaija.com with "URGENT" in the subject line. We monitor this inbox outside business hours.
