Who we are

  • AlertNaija — operated by ALERTNAIJA DIGITAL SOLUTIONS
  • Business name registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigeria. BN 9517386.
  • Payments processed by Paystack — we don’t store your full card number

At a glance

  • Free: reporting, missing persons, lost & found, marketplace listings, basic tools
  • Paid: AlertNaija Plus subscription · reward wallet top-ups
  • Marketplace: users pay each other offline — not through AlertNaija

1. AlertNaija Plus

  • Optional subscription for enhanced safety tools
  • May include expanded panic, global alerts, full stolen-device registry
  • Price and features shown in the app before you pay
  • Cancel anytime in Settings — ends at the period you already paid for

2. Reward wallet

  • In app: Settings → My Wallet
  • Only for cash rewards on your reports (e.g. stolen phone)
  • Not a general e-wallet — no marketplace or P2P spending

Top-up

  1. Choose an amount
  2. Pay with Paystack
  3. Balance updates · shows in payment history

Rewards

  1. Add a reward when you file a report → amount reserved
  2. Shows under Paid in history
  3. Verified finder → we pay out via Paystack
  4. No payout → refund to wallet or original method

What we don’t offer

  • General prepaid wallet for unrelated spending
  • Marketplace checkout or escrow between users
  • Money transfer / remittance products
  • Crypto, forex, lending, or deposits

Paystack features we use

  • Checkout — top-ups and first subscription charge
  • Subscriptions — Plus billing
  • Transfers — paying verified finders
  • Refunds — unused rewards and billing errors

Refunds

  • Plus: cancel in Settings; partial refunds at our discretion unless law requires
  • Rewards: unused amounts refunded within 14 days of closing the report
  • Errors: hello@alertnaija.com within 14 days + Paystack reference
