Court stops Federal Government from renaming UNILAG

Justice Stephen Adah of the federal high court, Lagos today granted an interim order restraining the Federal Government from renaming the University of Lagos. The court ruled in the suits brought against the renaming of the institution by the students and alumni of the University of Lagos.

Case adjourned till July 4th.

    The university of Abuja should rather be changed to MKO Abiola university instead of UNILAG and also Abiola should be given a post humus president award because he was a national figure not just in the Yoruba land.
