Asari Dokubo Turns Back on Jonathan 2015

The high priced leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteers Force and the Niger Delta Militant: Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari has said that the incumbent president of Nigeria: Goodluck Jonathan may not rule beyond 2015. This statement came from him despite having publicly supported Jonathan’s “beyond 2015″ agenda. He went on to say that he was basing his judgement on the fact that Goodluck Jonathan has lost his grip on the south east and south west. 

Asari Dokubo had in 2011 projected that Jonathan will rule Nigeria for 8 years but in his briefing yesterday, he said Goodluch may not have success if he tried to come back in 2015.

“Jonathan is surrounded by very greedy people who are only in the Presidency to enrich themselves at the expense of the President himself… This brings us to another Kalabari proverb which says: ‘Where there are elders, a goat cannot be allowed to deliver while tied to a stick.’ If we don’t talk and we continue to brush it aside, tomorrow we will be blamed and people will say: ‘Mujahid Dokubo-Asari was around when Jonathan was President, and he didn’t talk;’ then I will be an accomplice and accessory after the fact.”

He went on to say that despite the fact that he had benefited from the president, he would not be silence because of those benefits.
